Manchester United have not bid for Ibrahimovic, says agent

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent has denied reports that Manchester United have made a bid for the Inter Milan striker, claiming that the Swedish international is happy at the San Siro.

It has been suggested the Red Devils were lining up a move for the 27-year-old as they look to bolster their attacking options following the departures of Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez.

Ibrahimovic's future at Inter has been the subject of constant speculation all summer, with the player hinting he could be ready for a new challenge having claimed interest from Chelsea on Sunday.

However, Ibrahimovic's representative Mino Raiola insists there has been no offer from United.

"There is absolutely no truth that Manchester United have bid for Zlatan," Raiola told skysports. "If they did bid they did without me knowing and without Inter knowing.

"Zlatan is calm, he has a four-year contract at Inter. He is happy at Inter and is not thinking of moving."

"Zlatan is calm, he has a four-year contract at Inter. He is happy at Inter and is not thinking of moving."

Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic brushed aside transfer talk as he joined his Inter Milan team-mates in pre-season training.

The 27-year-old Sweden striker has been linked with clubs all over Europe in recent months, with Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid all reportedly interested.

"I'm happy to be here in Appiano (Inter's training ground)," said Ibrahimovic on the club's official TV channel.

"Have I read the newspapers in recent weeks? Yes, but I didn't find anything interesting.

"Whatever happens, happens. I'm happy to be here now. I'm as happy as the first day I joined Inter."

Ibrahimovic, who finished as last season's top scorer in Serie A, is under contract with Inter through June 2013.

If reports in England are to be believed, Ferguson would have to offer the Nerazzurri a mega payment within the next 24 hours in order to beat Mourinho's transfer deadline. Over the last few weeks, reports in Italy regarding the striker's future have become less frequent, suggesting he is likely to remain.
