Manchester United will face a fight to defend their Barclays Premier League title - and their supporters will be left black and blue.
After unveiling their new home kit - complete with a unique black V under the neckline - they have now released the away number.
'V' for Victory: Wayne Rooney has stepped into Ronaldo's shoes, on the pitch but also in the brochures
The new kit sees United return to the black theme that was so effective for them in their 2007-08 season but this time with a blue V.
The club will want to erase the painful memories of last season's white away kit, which the team wore in Rome when they lost the Champions League final.

Kit manafacturers Nike have gone back in the club's history for inspiration, as the 'V' design was originally introduced by former player Billy Meredith 100 years ago.
The 'Welsh Wizard' came up with the design to avoid a colour clash when United took on Bristol City in 1909 FA Cup final.

The look became something of a lucky omen for the club, as United won the final 1-0 and Meredith was named man of the match.
The Red Devils will don the strip for the first time during Thursday's Audi Cup match in Germany, where they will take on Bayern Munich.
Left back: Patrice Evra might wear the kit more often this season than Ben Foster
