THE final day of last season may be remembered more for Phil Brown's off-key singing on the KC Stadium pitch than the usual high drama, but 2008-09 was still one to savour in the Premier League.
Whether it was Liverpool's dogged pursuit of Manchester United, Aston Villa's attempts to ambush the 'Big Four' or the early heroics of newly-promoted Hull City, there were so many twists and turns that it was sometimes difficult to keep up.
