I’d Love To Play For Manchester United Again – David Beckham

David Beckham has reportedly admitted he would love to go back to the Premier League and play for former club, Manchester United.

The midfielder enjoyed phenomenal success during his time at Old Trafford, winning the Champions League, six Premier League titles and two FA Cups.

Beckham spent a decade at United and notched up almost 400 appearances, before moving to Real Madrid in 2003, and he has never made any secret of his fondness for the club where he made his name.

Now, speaking to the Daily Star, he has said that he would love to return to England to play for the champions again.

“I’d love to go back to United, because they are the team I support,” said the midfielder.

“For me, they are the best fans in the world. They’re the best club I’ve played for.

“Manchester United is always a team that any professional would want to play for.”

His remarks are unlikely to impress the Los Angeles Galaxy fans who have made their feelings towards Beckham well known since his return from a loan spell with AC Milan.

Despite this, Beckham is expected to return to Europe for another loan spell next year, in order to boost his chances of World Cup selection.

However, his most likely destination appears to be Milan again, rather than Manchester.
